Being a woman

Today I found myself taken back when two ladies said I looked elegant in Walmart. We were all trying on "church " hats and red hat society type hats. I was the only one in a dress and apparently the combo, dress and hat looked good to these two gals. I did feel very feminine and was glad I had made the decision to go in the "wearing dresses" direction. God had spoken to me, once again it seems, about wearing the pants in the family and for me wearing dresses help keep my renegade spirit in check.

What a wonderful compliment you received ! It takes more work to be a woman in some ways, sweat pants are so easy, but yes, like you I remember better to be a lady when dressed like one.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Yes, I do have area problems sometimes with my cell phone but most of my home area is okay - my sister's place, though, is another matter. She can use her cell phone at my house but neither of us can use ours at her house. Too many trees.

Hello - goat 'wool' fiber - if you are talking about milking goats, their hairs can be treated like cow hair and mixed with wool for spinning into a strong, course yarn for waterproof coats.

If you are talking about Angora goats - long-haired ... the fiber is called 'mohair' and is really pretty nice if treated well ... the younger the animal the softer the fiber.

My last two purchased of wool has had mohair mixed in - it makes it stronger if you want to use the yarn for socks or something. And makes it "fuzzier" and also has a little bit more shimmer (shine) than 100% wool.
